I cooked my grandma’s home-made spaghetti with Leah Thrapp. Leah is with Vincent Vacations Dallas. When she is not working, she is a busy mom helping out her local charity, Lovepacs Little Elm. Leah and I cooked up some pasta and most importantly, brought awareness to her organization and inform our local community of the fact that there ARE STARVING CHILDREN IN OUR OWN SCHOOLS!

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium medium yellow onion chopped
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 6 tb Worchester sauce
- 2 14.5 oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 14.5 oz cans tomato sauce
- 2 6 oz. cans tomato paste
- 1 can diced mushrooms
- 2 tb olive oil
Get a big pot out and fire up the burner! Spread the olive oil out in the pan. Then put in the ground beef and chopped onion in until the meat is brown.
At this point you may empty the juices from the meat or leave them in. I prefer to leave them in for taste. Next, add in the rest of the ingredients while the burner is on low. Set the burner to simmer, stirring the sauce every 5 minutes to prevent the bottom of the pan from burning. Leave the cover on the sauce. Let the sauce simmer for a minimum of 30 minutes.
