- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs (Italian preferred)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 lemons
- 5 tb olive oil
Turn your oven on bake at 350 degrees. First, clean your chicken breasts and pat dry.
Get 3 dinner plates. Put on each plate: bread crumbs, flour, eggs and milk mixture. You will need to beat the egg and milk together.
Next take one of the chicken breasts and dip it into the milk and egg mixture, dip into the flour, then dip back in the egg and milk mixture and then dip in the bread crumbs. Set the chicken aside. Then do this with the rest of the chicken.
Fire up the stove and put on high. Pour the olive oil in the pan. Add the chicken breasts to the pan. Let it sizzle for about 2 minutes or until golden brown on each side.
Next, you will want to zest your lemon (take off some of the lemon skin with the cheese grater) and then squeeze the juice into a glass.
Your chicken should be done by now so transfer it to a baking pan. Add the lemon juice on top of the chicken by pouring it on top. Add the zest onto the top of the chicken. Cover with foil and bake for about 20-30 minutes. Add your favorite vegetables to it!
