Pineapple is not always sweet and fresh, so when I saw this at Sam’s Club, I took advantage making this dessert. My son loves pineapple. Let’s just say this dessert didn’t last long in my freezer!
- 1 fresh pineapple from Sam's Club
- 5 tb organic maple syrup
- 1 lemon (juiced)
Cut the pineapple into chunks. (Note: If you want to freeze this before you blend, you may. I chose to freeze after and it turned out perfect.)
Add all ingredients to the blender. Then pulse (NOT blend) until you get the perfect consistency. Freeze in a freezer safe dish for 4 hours. Take out of freezer about 15 minutes before serving so that you can scoop it out with ease.
