My daughter is going through a smoothie phase. (I am too.) I love them but do not want the extra sugar and preservatives. So, we are prepping a bunch and freezing them until we are ready to eat them. This recipe is so easy and healthy!
- 1/2 lb strawberries – no stem
- 1/2 lb raspberries
- 5 bananas – no skin
- 2 cups yogurt
- 2 cups orange juice
Gather and wash a pound of your 3 favorite fruits to blend. I chose strawberries, raspberries and bananas
Add the fruit to the blender, along with your yogurt. I chose nonfat Fague since it is high in protein. Then while blending, add orange juice.
Lastly, separate out into little cups with lids to freeze. When you are ready to eat the yogurt, just take it out of the freezer and add it to the blender! Done!
